The Wilkes Company has focused on transit-oriented, mixed-use developments in downtown Washington, DC. In partnership with Quadrangle Development Corporation, The Wilkes Company is in the final phase of developing Mount Vernon Place, a 2.1 million square foot mixed-use project located in Mount Vernon Triangle. 

In Edgewood, proximate to the Rhode Island Ave-Brentwood Metro Station, 525 Rhode Island Avenue is a planned first-class office building with on-site parking.
